ភ្នំពេញ ថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២១៖ ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា និងក្រុមហ៊ុន BECIS នាថ្ងៃនេះ (ថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២១) បានរៀបចំពិធីបញ្ចុះបឋមសិលាសាងសង់រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសដ៏ធំដំបូងបំផុតនៅកម្ពុជា ដើម្បីផលិតថាមពលកម្ដៅសម្រាប់ប្រើប្រាស់នៅរោងចក្រផលិតស្រាបៀររបស់ខ្លួនក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។
ឯកឧត្ដម សៅ សុភាព រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងបរិស្ថានកម្ពុជា បានធ្វើជាអធិបតីក្នុងពិធីបញ្ចុះបឋមសិលានេះ ដែលត្រូវបានរៀបចំឡើងនៅទល់មុខរោងចក្ររបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុនស្រាបៀរ ហ៊ិននីគែន តាមបណ្តោយវិថីស្រាបៀរថៃហ្គ័រ ភូមិរបោះអង្កាញ់ សង្កាត់ព្រែកឯក ខណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ រាជធានីភ្នំពេញ កម្ពុជា។
កម្មវិធីបញ្ចុះបឋមសិលាសាងសង់រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសនេះ មានការចូលរួមពីតំណាងមកពីក្រសួងរ៉ែ និងថាមពល អាជ្ញាធរដែនដី សមាគមអាជីវកម្ម ក៏ដូចជាដៃគូជំនួញ និងសារព័ត៌មានជាច្រើនទៀត។
រោងចក្រនេះដែលត្រូវបានសាងសង់ដោយក្រុមហ៊ុន BECIS វិនិយោគទឹកប្រាក់ចំនួន ៥,៨លានដុល្លារអាមេរិក និងគ្រោងចំណាយពេល ៧ខែដើម្បីបញ្ចប់ការសាងសង់។ រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសនេះនឹងដុតអង្កាម ដែលនឹងយកមកពីខេត្តព្រៃវែង។ រោងចក្រនេះនឹងបង្កើតជាចំហាយទឹក ដើម្បីផ្គត់ផ្គង់ថាមពលកម្ដៅសម្រាប់ប្រើប្រាស់ផ្ដាច់មុខនៅរោងចក្រផលិតស្រាបៀររបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា នៅរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។
គម្រោងថាមពលនេះនឹងបង្កើតការងារដល់ប្រជាជនចំនួន ៥០នាក់ ហើយរំពឹងថានឹងផ្ដល់អត្ថប្រយោជន៍ដល់អ្នកប្រកបអាជីវកម្មស្រូវអង្ករ ដូចជា រោងម៉ាស៊ីនកិនស្រូវ និងប្រជាកសិករជាដើមតាមរយៈការជួយបង្កើតតម្លៃបន្ថែមដល់ទីផ្សាររបស់ពួកគេ។
ឯកឧត្ដម សៅ សុភាព រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងបរិស្ថានបានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា៖ «យើងសូមអរគុណយ៉ាងខ្លាំងដល់ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា ចំពោះការប្ដេជ្ញាចិត្ដចំពោះកម្ពុជា និងការឈានមុខគេក្នុងគំនិតផ្ដួចផ្ដើមដើម្បីរួមគ្នាដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាបម្រែបម្រួលអាកាសធាតុ។ ក្នុងនាមជាក្រុមហ៊ុនអន្ដរជាតិឈានមុខមួយ ដែលបានប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តទៅនឹងការ «ចូលរួមអភិវឌ្ឍពិភពលោកដ៏ល្អប្រសើរ» ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា កំពុងចូលរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងសកម្មក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍប្រកបដោយចីរភាពនៅកម្ពុជា»។
តាមរយៈការផ្លាស់ប្ដូរមកប្រើប្រាស់ថាមពលជីវម៉ាសវិញនេះ ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា រំពឹងថានឹងអាចសន្សំសំចៃឧស្ម័នកាបូនបាន ១៧.០០០តោនក្នុងមួយឆ្នាំ។ រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសនេះ នឹងអាចជួយឱ្យរោងចក្រផលិតស្រាបៀរក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ប្រើប្រាស់ថាមពលកម្ដៅកកើតឡើងវិញ ១០០ភាគរយ និងកាត់បន្ថយការបញ្ចេញកាបូនរបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុននៅក្នុងផលិតកម្មបាន ៦០%។ គម្រោងនេះក៏នឹងជួយបន្ថែមដល់គោលបំណងរបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងការសម្រេចគោលដៅអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ប្រកបដោយចីរភាពរបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិផងដែរ។
លោកស្រី អេននី អូលីវីយែ នាយកផ្នែកកិច្ចការសហគ្រាសរបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា បានថ្លែងថា៖ «ការប្ដេជ្ញារបស់យើងចំពោះនិរន្តរភាពមិនមែនជារឿងថ្មីឡើយ។ “ចូលរួមអភិវឌ្ឍកម្ពុជាដ៏ល្អប្រសើរ” ដែលជាមហិច្ឆិតាអភិវឌ្ឍដោយចីរភាពរបស់យើង បានក្លាយជាផ្នែកមួយនៃវប្បធម៌ក្រុមហ៊ុនរបស់យើងសម្រាប់រយៈពេលវែងរួចទៅហើយ។ រយៈពេលមួយទសវត្សរ៍ចុងក្រោយនេះ យើងបាននិងកំពុងផ្ដោតលើប្រសិទ្ធភាពថាមពល និងបានចាប់ផ្ដើមប្រើប្រាស់ថាមពលកកើតឡើងវិញ ដូចជាជីវម៉ាសជាដើម។ តាំងពីឆ្នាំ២០១៣មក យើងបានកាត់បន្ថយរួចហើយនូវការបញ្ចេញឧស្ម័នកាបូន ៥០ភាគរយ»។
លោកស្រីបានបន្ដថា៖ «ការសាងសង់រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសនៅថ្ងៃនេះ បង្ហាញពីជំហានឆ្ពោះទៅមុខដ៏ធំមួយសម្រាប់មហិច្ឆិតារបស់យើងក្នុងការសម្រេចបានការបញ្ឈប់ទាំងស្រុងនៅការបញ្ចេញកាបូននៅក្នុងផលិតកម្មនៅត្រឹមឆ្នាំ២០៣០ ខាងមុខ។ យើងបាននិងកំពុងចូលរួមចំណែកក្នុងកំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចកម្ពុជាសម្រាប់រយៈពេលវែងរួចហើយ តាមរយៈការងារដែលយើងបង្កើត និងគាំទ្រ ក៏ដូចជាពន្ធអាករដែលយើងបង់។ ថ្ងៃនេះ យើងចង់បង្ហាញថា យើងប្រកាន់ភ្ជាប់ទៅនឹងវិធីសាស្រ្តគោលការណ៍ ៣ (Triple bottom-line approach)»។
ការសាងសង់រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសនេះត្រូវបានធ្វើឡើងដោយសហការជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុន BECIS ក្នុងកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងទិញថាមពលរយៈពេលច្រើនឆ្នាំ។

កាលពីពីរបីឆ្នាំមុន ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា បានវិនិយោគលើរោងចក្រប្រព្រឹត្ដិកម្មទឹកកខ្វក់ដ៏ធំមួយនៅកម្ពុជានៅឯរោងចក្រផលិតស្រាបៀរក្នុងរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ។ ជីវឧស្ម័នដែលបញ្ចេញដោយ រោងចក្រប្រព្រឹត្ដិកម្មទឹកកខ្វក់នេះត្រូវបានប្រើជាថាមពលកម្ដៅក្នុងផលិតកម្មស្រាបៀររបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន ក្នុងទម្រង់ជាថាមពលកកើតឡើងវិញ។
កាលពីខែមេសា ឆ្នាំមុន ក្រុមហ៊ុនបានបង្ហាញគោលបំណងថ្មីៗក្នុងការសម្រេចគោលដៅបញ្ឈប់ទាំងស្រុងនូវការបញ្ចេញឧស្ម័នកាបូនក្នុងសង្វាក់ផលិតកម្មរបស់ខ្លួននៅឆ្នាំ២០៣០ ទាំងនៅលើពិភពលោក និងនៅកម្ពុជា។
ក្នុងភាពជាដៃគូជិតស្និទ្ធជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុនផ្គត់ផ្គង់នានា ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន មានបំណងកាត់បន្ថយការបញ្ចេញកាបូនឱ្យបាន ៣០%នៅត្រឹមឆ្នាំ២០៣០ នៅទូទាំងសង្វាក់ផលិតកម្មទាំងមូល (Value chain) របស់ខ្លួន ធៀបនឹងឆ្នាំ២០១៨។ នៅឆ្នាំ ២០៤០ ក្រុមហ៊ុនមានបំណងសម្រេចឱ្យបានអព្យាក្រឹត្យភាពកាបូននៅក្នុងសង្វាក់ផលិតកម្មទាំងមូលរបស់ខ្លួន។ ក្រុមហ៊ុនកំពុងចាត់វិធានការផ្អែកលើវិទ្យាសាស្រ្តតាមរយៈការធ្វើការងារយ៉ាងជិតស្និទ្ធជាមួយគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមទិសដៅផ្អែកលើវិទ្យាសាស្រ្ត (Science Based Targets) ដើម្បីបញ្ជាក់ពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តថ្មីៗរបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន។

រោងចក្រថាមពលជីវម៉ាសរបស់ក្រុមហ៊ុន ហ៊ិននីគែន ខេមបូឌា ត្រូវបានរំពឹងថានឹងអាចដំណើរការនៅខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២២ ខាងមុខ។

HEINEKEN Cambodia BREAKS GROUND ON CAMBODIA’S FIRST LARGE BIOMASS POWER PLANT, IN COLLABORATION WITH BECIS, TO REACH 100% RENEWABLE THERMAL ENERGY
Phnom Penh, December 8th, 2021 – HEINEKEN Cambodia and BECIS today (December 8th 2021) broke ground on Cambodia’s first large biomass power plant set up to generate thermal energy for the brewer’s production site in Phnom Penh.
His Excellency Sao Sopheap, Secretary of State, Ministry of Environment for the Royal Government of Cambodia, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony, which took place opposite the HEINEKEN Cambodia brewery, Tiger Beer Road, Robos Angkagne Village, Sangkat Prek Eng, Khan Chbar Ompov, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, local authorities, business associations as well as business partners and the media.
The plant, built up by BECIS, represents an investment of USD 5.8 million and is expected to take 7 months to complete. The facility will burn rice husks, sourced from the nearby Prey Vang province. The plant will generate steam to supply thermal energy exclusively for HEINEKEN Cambodia’s brewery in Phnom Penh.
This project will create 50 jobs on site and is expected to benefit those active in the rice value-chain such as millers and rice farmers by helping to add value to their market.

By switching to biomass energy HEINEKEN Cambodia is hoping to save 17,000t of CO2 per year. The biomass power plant will enable the brewer to reach 100% renewable thermal energy, and to reduce its CO2 emissions in production by 60%. The project will also help further the country’s aim of achieving the Cambodia’s UN Sustainable Development Goals.
“Our commitment to Sustainability is not new’’, said HEINEKEN Cambodia Corporate Affairs Director Anne Ollivier. ‘’Brew a Better Cambodia, our Sustainable Development ambition, has been part of our company culture for a long time already. In the past decade, we have been focusing on the energy efficiency and have started to use renewable energy such as biogas. We have already reduced our CO2 emissions by 50% since 2013. The construction of this biomass plant today represents a major step for our ambition to reach net zero emissions in production by 2030. We are contributing to Cambodia’s economic growth for a long time already, via the jobs we create and support, and the tax we pay. Today is the demonstration that we have a triple bottom-line approach.’’
The construction of the biomass plant is done in partnership with BECIS, in the form of a multi-years Power Purchasing Agreement.

A few years ago, HEINEKEN Cambodia has already invested in one of the country’s first large wastewater treatment plants at the company’s Phnom Penh brewery. The biogas emitted by this installation is being used as thermal energy (heat) within the group’s brewing operations as one of the available forms of Renewable Energy.
Last April, the brewer revealed new objectives internationally, and in Cambodia, to reach net zero emissions in its own production by 2030.
In close partnership with suppliers HEINEKEN aims to cut emissions by 30% by 2030 across its entire value chain, compared to 2018. Looking ahead to 2040, the company is aiming for carbon neutrality in its full value chain. The company is taking a science-based approach by working closely with the Science Based Targets initiative to validate its new commitment.
In addition to Carbon Neutrality, HEINEKEN is also reducing the brewer’s water consumption and embracing circularity. HEINEKEN’s dual objectives are to foster an inclusive, fair, and equitable world while also advocating for moderation of consumption of alcohol. These 2 pillars also make up the company’s ‘’Brew a Better Cambodia’’ objective.
HEINEKEN Cambodia’s biomass plant is expected to go online in July 2022.
