Phnom Penh, Cambodia will take centre stage on 21st November as over 100 remarkable women entrepreneurs coming from across ASEAN gather for the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN) Award Gala Night at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra.
The evening celebration follows the Pinnacle Entrepreneurs Forum (PEF), a gathering of business leaders, investors, and policymakers. The forum will feature capital & innovation Panels, top-level diplomatic dialogue, startup pitches, and industry business matching – all designed to foster collaboration and unlock cross-border opportunities across the region.
Together, the two events represent a full day devoted to advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and inclusive growth across ASEAN under the theme “The World Prospers When We Collaborate.”
Beyond recognising exceptional women shaping ASEAN’s economic landscape, the awards highlight the broader importance of women’s leadership in driving sustainable business, regional cooperation, and social impact.
Presided over by H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, the event will also mark the handover of the AWEN Chairwomanship from Cambodia to Lao PDR, symbolising continuity in empowering women entrepreneurs across borders.
The celebration will be graced by distinguished guests, including ambassadors from Timor-Leste and Indonesia, the Press Secretary of the Embassy of the Philippines, and other high-level diplomatic representatives.
